Carpet Cleaning

What is involved in carpet cleaning "steam" cleaning?

Although it’s often referred to as “steam” cleaning, there’s no steam involved.

This method involves very hot water being sprayed under high pressure into the carpet and vacuumed up immediately.

This type of deep cleaning requires specialised equipment, experience and extensive training to ensure that it is used properly across all materials without causing damage.  When done by a professional it is comprehensive and lifts stains, odours, allergens, dust and ensures your carpets stay cleaner for longer.

Steam Cleaning your carpet means that the carpet takes a number of hours to dry because it is a more thorough clean.  It is also recommended by carpet manufactures, especially for synthetic carpets as the preferred method of cleaning.

How often should I get my carpet cleaned?

Pets in the home – You should be having your carpet professionally cleaned every 6 to 12 months.
Children in the home – On average you should be having your carpet professionally cleaned every 9 months.
Check you carpets warranty – Most carpet manufacturers require your carpet to be professionally “steam cleaned” once a year.
